Mission & Vision Statements

Our vision is of a congregation which emanates from being in relationship with a loving God who gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross for us and become the only sufficient offering for our sins.

Our vision entails the spreading of the gospel beginning in the Southwest area of the District of Columbia, and continuing throughout the world so that unbelievers may come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Our vision includes developing and nurturing Christians to become disciples who are steadily growing towards spiritual maturity through preaching, teaching, Bible study, seminars, workshops, retreats and other forms of study.

Our vision is to affirm our identity as the Church by recognizing every member as a minister of God and creating an outlet for each to use his/her gifts within the context of the "Body of Christ" and minister to the unsaved and the unchurched.

Our vision is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ by engaging in an innovative worship style where the unquenchable power of the Holy Spirit is at work leading us in praise and worship of God.

Our vision will corporate a community approach to doing ministry where we are recognized as an outreach center for all that are in need.

Our vision will have at its heart a sense of empowering the people of God to live out the Christian faith with an unconditional love of God and neighbor.

Our vision is to accept those who the Holy Spirit will add daily to our church as we preach Jesus Christ, train disciples and even evangelize throughout the world.
